Frank's storyline is an homage to the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which was Danny DeVito's film debut. In the original, he plays the character who is playing cards and saying 'Hit me' over and over again. The Native American actor is Tim Sampson, who is the real-life son of Will Sampson who played the Chief in the original, so that's also a nice little touch.

Charlie's conspiracy monologue is one of the greatest moments in IASIP. Definitely one of my favorite episodes. Also in the future, the guy who hired them returns as a re-ocurring character, but playing another role (or is he?), so I wonder if you'll recognize him when he shows up again. I had to rewatch the series a few times before I noticed. The bloopers for this episode are my favorite also, so you should check that out at the end of the season.
