Another great reaction. In my perspective Jerry and his wife aren't complete nonsense. I don't know if it's really stated how Gayle was in the past but the qualities people sees, her being attractive, kind, etc. are traits that I've seen in the media of people who have been treated badly in relationships or have been misled by the wrong person That's where Jerry comes in. Jerry is not the wrong person because he's kind, he's non-threatening, he's reliable, he's giving, he'll do his best to be home at five o'clock so Gayle can experience those moments with him. He treats Gayle as his equal and his heart has always been shown as open even towards those who haven't been as kind to him. THAT makes total sense of why the two of them are together. You just need to be seen, respected, and accepted and they both definitely give each other that. Other than the Jerry stuff what I liked was Tom and Rons' relationship and how Tom really doesn't have the self-confidence he tries to brag about. It's good that Ron saw this and helped him in his own way. A nice episode, not overly funny or exciting but sometimes you just need a slower episode especially to appreciate a single character from the show.

I agree that this one doesn't pop as much as some of the others. I do, however, enjoy Ben's ongoing bafflement at how Gayle and Jerry came to be. The answer was given to us a while ago though. When all the men at city hall got examined for mumps, Doctor Harris told us. "That man has the largest penis I've ever seen." Case closed. But Ben may never know. Great reaction as always.

For the first time MVP of the episode goes to Jerry for being an awesome human being. Also I feel bad for Jerry that he didn't get a proper sending off by the team for what he had to suffer over the years with all the banter and humiliations and most of it was undeserving. Also Ann and Chris getting back together is a good idea if they get pregnant if not Ann will get annoyed by Chris in a couple of months and she will get rid of him like the last time and I dread to think the outcome of that scenario considering, what Chris went through last time he broke up with Jerry's daughter. Can't wait for the next one.

I agree that the Jerry part could have been funnier. My favorite is seeing him interact with his family. He loves his family and couldn’t care less about what the people at work do or say. He does enough work to get by but he excels as a husband and a father. I’m a little like him in that I’m very competent in some stuff like my work but I’m a total klutz everywhere else. And as much as I like and respect my coworkers much like April leaving DC as soon as I’m done with the job I’ll just bolt out of there as fast as I can 😂
