I love this episode, it gave me my favorite Britta line, "I told you, I don't care about Inspector SpaceTime."

I'm glad you guys enjoyed this episode. There are actually a lot of people who don't but it's a B rated episode for me personally, nothing amazing but not bad and pretty consistent. I really like the part where Abed realizes Troy will find him in the phonebooth. Abed said in the episode with Annie in the dreamatorium that he was often shoved into things like lockers but he just knows that Troy's got his back and he doesn't have to worry like when he was a child. I think personally my favorite character in this episode is Shirley, I love everything she does including asking Pierce whether Abed actually wanted them at the convention, to telling the show runners to make a US version of Inspector Spacetime that is smart and speaks to the audience the UK version has, to her painful nod at the end. She just knows she's a little out of place and I love how she just thinks, I have to be here anyway so I'm going to try to help those boys keep their TV show as is. I also used to love the opening with Britta's routine in the morning but somehow it has dulled on me. I would love to have said that show reflects well on the Troy and Britta couple but it just is poorly developed even though they are my first (Troy) and second (Britta) favorite characters in the show. Anyway, great reaction. Looking forward to the next one ;)

So, I'm one of those who basically blocked out season 4. But having watched a few seasons of Doctor Who in the meantime, I'm disappointed in the lack of attention to detail in this homage compared to the things Dan Harmon has done for other genres, but at the same time wondering if this episode had some time travelers on its writing team. I actually had to google some dates to make sure I wasn't crazy. Um..so Matt Lucas, who guest starred in this episode (which aired in 2013), later became a companion on Doctor Who in 2015, and also had an oddly specific line about tv baking shows (he has now co-hosted The Great British Bake Off for the past two years). Also, since this show aired, Doctor Who did have its first female Doctor, (Danny's mum from that "really sad" show I made you start watching), which left the fanbase somewhat divided and whose general look and costuming is not incredibly far off from the photo of "Minerva". I apologize that a lot of this probably doesn't mean a lot to the two of you (who have never watched or cared about "Inspector Spacetime") but I'm wondering if anyone else ever noticed these odd coincidences. Lastly, I assume that you guys recognized the casting in the American reboot as 90210 alums Jennie Garth and Luke Perry (RIP). Great reaction and thanks for putting up with the long winded comment.

I loved all the Cameo appearances from couple of my favourites like Abed's Friend Matt Lucas and Luke perry as one of the inspector's and finally from our very own Charlotte. Also how did Britta end up dating Troy and judging by the outcome of this episode and some previous events that it's possible Annie and Jeff might start dating which is very odd considering when I started watching this show with you guys I thought Annie and Troy would end up together and Jeff and Britta will be the other couple and they even slept together so this trajectory for this characters baffles me. My highlights of this episode were Troy being the jealous girlfriend in him and Abed's Friendship and Annie Daydreaming about being the Mrs. Winger, Can't wait for the next one.

This episode is two different episodes, one for people who have watched Doctor Who and another for those that haven't. I was lucky enough to get it both ways... yes... that IS what she said.

Plus you COULD say it’s for those who have been to conventions (I went to anime expo three times as a teen and Fanime four times in my teens and early twenties) and those who have never attended a convention

I know this is kind of a late comment now, but they've been hinting at Britta and Troy for years before this point. But pretty heavily as early as season 3. Like how Britta and Troy basically got together in one of the timelines of "Remedial Chaos Theory."
