I love this episode for all the reasons you gave -- particularly Ben on morphine. I've been in that situation too (though not for kidney stones), and they caught the "blissful... but also sentimental" mood perfectly. I also have to say that we're in one of the few storylines of "late-season Parks & Rec" that I think they could have written better. Chris seems to have moved from being a sperm donor to being a co-parent. Which is fine, but they never even acknowledge that it's a change for them. Unlike most P&R stories, it feels like they didn't write it as carefully as they should have.

That skim milk line is classic Ron Swanson. I love drugged up Ben. Anytime they let Adam Scott get goofy and stretch his comedy wings is great since Ben is so often a bit of a straightman to Leslie and the crew. Much like how drunk Ann lets Rashida get a bit sillier than everyday Ann. Both of those actors can be brilliantly funny and it's nice when that gets showcased.

This was one of the most enjoyable episodes to me because I wasn't bored by any of it. I really love the Ron storyline the most especially with Tom and April. I think my favorite part of this was when they asked Tom if Ron had ever said he wanted to punch Jam and it just goes to show all the times he has said that. Also, I had become pretty comfortable with seeing the straight-man but really sweet Ben so when I saw him in The Good Place a few years later I kept wondering If there would be anything that would push Ben so far as to become (the demon) Trevor. Just shows you how amazing Adam Scott is.

My highlights were Ron's court case and Ice Clown on drugs🤣🤣🤣Also Chris and Ann Struggling with basics was hilarious and they are in for a rough ride, Can't wait for the next one.
