(SPOILERS to follow, for those who haven’t seen it.) Glad to see the reactions to this. I swear I saw it in the theater, which was...when I was a teenager. A long time ago! (Probably not a time when it would be reasonable to use video every day, although maybe!) Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity) and Joey Pants had just come from The Matrix, more or less. Anyway, I had to rewatch a couple times to get the timeline - the black and white scenes start at the “beginning,” chronologically, and move forward. The color scenes start at the end and move backward. There’s a moment after Jimmy, as the photo is developing, where the timelines meet and the shot switches to color. As for whether or not Sammy was real, or who was the one on insulin - I have my doubts. Theoretically, he only had difficulty making new memories - seems like he would remember that about his wife. And I definitely don’t believe a word out of Teddy’s mouth. He’d been using him for over a year. (Between him and Natalie, she’s...much more sympathetic, since she’s just trying to recover from losing her boyfriend.) But who knows? It’s definitely intended to be an open question.

Ya this is an interesting theory, about teddy, especially if you do not believe him. He could of been the "2nd man" all along and has been manipulating him since the beginning learning about his condition, being a dirty cop, going after drug dealers and making a lotta money. Like Jimmy had like 200k ready to go and teddy knew Leonard was gonna kill him too. But it could be a bit of a stretch as to say teddy was the killer, its just a thought haha, but I do think he was manipulating him for a while and just taking out dealer after dealer. I think thats how Leonard pays for everything, like where does he get all this money to stay in motels for weeks at a time and not to mention hes renting out multiple rooms lmao.

I had never seen this movie, but Woah this is sad. I had heard about it before,, so I had a little knowledge,, but it was so heartbreaking for me It definitely reminds me of the movie Shutter Island but maybe that's because there's a Teddy there. Really good movie, glad I took the time to watch it.
