I think RJ is absolutely right in that this episode is a setup and a bit weird, there are some funny moments to me like Troy asking if Starburns is going to come out of the urn and do impressions and also Pierce searching through the urn for his comb but I think it's to leave you in suspense and with this feeling of what's going to happen because it's been setting it up all season (Fake Dean=Fake Moby). No spoilers but I think you're going to like the next episodes where of course one of them has a concept feel as per Community Special =D Great reaction as always.

Hey guys like Fae said it was a great setup for things to come. We met the fake Dean in the episode where they all had to do celebrity impressions. He played the DJ called Moby. As always great callback. Did you know that the actor who plays Starburns is actually a consulting producer and writer on the show? He requested for his character to be killed off, in order to focus on his main job behind the scenes. Great reaction as always and i see you in the next one.

Chang Conflicts me quite a bit. He works for some, but not for me. On one hand, you have Michael Scott, who I don't find all that funny but I like and defend him because of his complexities. And then you have the seemingly one dimensional Ben Chang who is by far a worse person and should actually take Britta's place as being "the worst". From actions in this episode to last season's abducting two children, then getting Jeff arrested for it and then immediately getting forgiven for it. I'd say my only knock against this great show is how Ben Chang is utilized.

While this is mostly a setup episode, I still really enjoy it for how insane it gets. Chang has gone from jerkass teacher in season 1 to psychotic frenemy of the study group in season 2 to a full blown supervillain in this season. All the while Ken Jeong just steals every scene that he’s in. I also really love the jokes in this episode. Jeff’s meta comment of how drastically Britta’s personality has changed since season 1 is so spot on. She has gone from the voice of reason to the airhead of the group. My favorite two jokes of the episode are probably Pierce being dumb enough to believe that his comb is in the urn and dig through it and Annie finding the kids in “tiny riot gear” super cute only to immediately become horrified as they attack the students with mace.

You know, I disagree with everything Chang does in this episode, I still think the group should have been punished. In an ideal world Chang should be greatly penalized, fired and probably go to jail for what he did, but some sort of punishment should end up on the groups hands too, because even though they eventually were upset with the riot, they instigated and called for it.
