The second Troy said, "I don't want you to break his brain," we all immediately knew Annie was for sure gonna break Abed's brain, right? In this episode, Annie is really starting to learn how to interact successfully with Abed by meeting him where he is. This show does a rare trick where they do make a lot of jokes at Abed's expense, but have these meaningful relationships where his friends love him and respect his differences. It's really touching. Troy holding up the technical difficulties sign at the end is just the perfect example of how committed they are to the illusion. Just the fact that they had it ready to go is one thing, but who is it for? There's no camera!
