This is the episode where Annie became my favorite character on the show. It’s so hilarious yet admirable to see her jump through hoops just to deal with Britta’s insanity and as the episode shows, it clearly wasn’t easy. I also love the Dean trying and miserably failing to get Troy into the air conditioning school by randomly showing up to his apartment and claiming that he wants to have a “boys night.” Knowing the Dean though, I’m sure part of him actually did want to have a “boys night” with Troy and Abed. Lastly I found Pierce’s subplot to be hilarious. He’s so desperate to have a best friend that he’d recruit Chang of all people to fill that role. As one would expect with someone like Chang, it doesn’t work out. Along with the multiple timelines and celebrity impersonator episodes, this is probably my favorite episode of the season.

Hey guys i always found this episode very interesting The Blade character was on a completely different level if you think about it. He told Jeff, that the bolt that hit him destroyed the part of his brain that feels shame. So basically he doesn´t care what you might think of him, because he doesn´t feel the need to proof himself or anything to you. Whatever you might say to him doesn´t affect him and bounces right off, because he literally couldn´t care less, due to his injury.

Now Jeff on the other hand is the complete opposite. He always searches the approval of the people around him, because he defines himself based on what other people think of him. That´s why he is so obsessed with Blade, because he simply cannot grasp that way of thinking. And as you already said, Britta is drawn to men like Blade, because she has very low self-esteem and therefore feels the need to be treated like crap, because she doesn´t think she deserves any better. And when she thought the heartfelt message from Troy was from Blade, his "spell" over her was immediately broken. Let´s just hope that Brittas spirit can be lifted. Pretty deep cuts for a 20 minute comedy episode, and if you ask me, we should all be a little more like Blade. Great reaction as always, much love and i see you in the next one.

i adore this episode. it's one of the more lowkey Community episodes, but each of the story lines delivered (at least for me). the Chang and Pierce plot was definitely out of nowhere and weird, but i think that made the random sad montages even funnier to me--because like u guys, i said "...But they were friends for like 5 seconds." the Jeff plot was good, but it's his Winger speech at the end that really wins me over. and the Annie/Britta/Troy/Abed/(+ the Dean) was my favorite plot, i think all those characters really shined in this episode. the Dean was hilarious this episode. the fact that his first attempt to get Troy into AC repair school was also his last--and he just immediately headed out was great. i loved Annie's tactics of how to stop a "junkie", and Troy's one tactic of how stop Britta. and the fact that through a lot of this, Abed's just chilling in the background watching Blade. anyway, great reaction ! I was cracking up in the discussion bit with u guys.

I remember thinking it was weird how Troy seemed upset about Britta's reaction to his text... but after I rewatched the series, I realized this wasn't that random. In the episode where Troy and Britta join the drama club, then he tells everyone his uncle stuck his finger in his plop plop... he was doing all that to get Britta to like him, and it worked. She kissed him. Then in the alternate timeline episode, Troy and Britta end up in the bathroom together... when Abed asks what happened in the other timelines, they look at each other and say "who cares" with big smiles. So there's always been a little thing between them... but trust in Harmon. He knows his limits lol.

I have a very hard time accepting supporting residents of Pawnee in other roles. I just saw Ethel Beavers in something and I couldn't tell you what the character's name was because she's Ethel Beavers. At least Blade is a memorable name, but the idea of Britta sleeping with Sewage Joe is just gross. My favorite parts of this episode are actually the Dean and also the good Jeff and Shirley stuff. I love their friendship.

I don't want to say why, but this episode reminded me that we are getting dangerously close to having to address the elephant in the room that is Season 4. Y'all might want to decide how "blind" you want to be when we get there; there was some production "stuff," to keep it vague. Also, genuinely the biggest laugh I had during the reaction was RJ at the end, like the kid in the class who clearly didn't study but still confidently took his shot at bullshitting, digging that hole ever deeper with each word.

Love this episode, super excited to watch.

I don’t think this is much of a spoiler but I absolutely cannot stand the stuff with Kevin
