This might be the most important episode in the entire run of the show. It's enjoyable (sometimes) through the first dozen episodes, but there's a huge question underlying everything that happens: HOW IS MICHAEL THE BOSS???? This episode shows you how Michael got the job in the first place: He is not a good boss, but he's a very good salesman. He just got promoted from a job he was good at to one that he wasn't good at, which happens all the time. Throw in the amazing screenplay and yet another bit of (very slow) progress on the Jim/Pam front, and you have probably the best episode of the show to date.
