I agree that Kelso was horribly misogynistic in this one. Which is probably quite typical in a doctor of that generation. I kind of hated that they actually had Elliot coo at the baby at the end. Luckily, this show does go on to continue to address the struggles of being a woman or person of color (in the case of other characters) in medicine as the series progresses.

I've always loved Turk's part of this episode, losing his faith and getting it back, I've always thought it was well done. Also, Kelso was particularly terrible in this episode with all his assumptions and misogyny.

Hey guys so since i´ve been away for a little while, i just wanted to say, you picking up Scrubs is one of the best things ever. One of my alltime favourite shows. I never get tired of watching it. In my opinion it only gets better. Thanks to the community for voting it in. As you already figured, this show has everything from comedy to gut wrenching realism that hits you when you least expect it. I have even talked to many people in the medical field, and most of them say that Scrubs really gets it what it´s like being a young doctor starting out in a hospital. Fun fact: While filming the show they used an old abandoned hospital (The North Hollywood Medical Center) which was closed down 3 years before filming started. Anyway, the crew did such a good job fixing up the place, that one day a man stumbled into the front door with a gunshot wound expecting treatment, since he thought it was a real working hospital. They of course called a real ambulance to get him help. Crazy stuff...

Now for the actual episode It was great seeing Turks development here and the way, his faith is a great part of who he is. Doctor Cox and Jordan are always great. My take on Kelso´s behaviour: He generaly loves to talk down to everyone, because he gets off on it. His banter with the staff is hilarious though Do i condone how he sees women in the medical field? Absolutely not, it´s terrible! BUT Like he said, he´s been doing this job for over 30 years, and he knows the statistics. So i think that this is the only way he knows how to handle things, considering the way he grew up in the 1940s, his upbringing and all that. Remember, the show aired in 2001 and Kelso is around 60 years old here. So one can, at least to a certain degree, understand why he is the way he is. And who knows, maybe he´ll come around and see the error of his ways. To be honest, i was also on the lookout for RJ, since he made that comment and i was worried, he had to sleep on the couch for a week 🤣 Love you guys, great reactíon as always and i see you in the next one.

Dr. Cox's Ex Wife is back and anytime I see her on screen she brings me so much joy. Hopefully everyone will vote for Cougar Town one day and You guys will get to see the burn queen on her absolute glory. I Loved this Christmas episode, Turk struggling with his faith was brilliant to see also Dr. Kelso's extreme Misogyny was on a different level, and when RJ Made that Comment I was genuinely worried for his well being, But RJ I have to commend you for trying to make us Laugh even if it the situation puts you in physical danger🤣🤣👏👏Can't wait for the next one.
