So glad you finally made it to this one. It’s arguably the best episode from the entire show and explores each character in a brilliant way like Pierce’s insistence on being noticed by constantly claiming that he got with Eartha Kitt because he’s bitter about the roommate situation with Troy or Britta constantly leaving to the bathroom to smoke weed in each timeline because she keeps getting upset at being shot down by Jeff for singing when she was just trying to have fun. Just an amazing and hilarious episode overall. Like always, this was a terrific reaction and well worth the wait.

In my opinion, that troll doll is one of the creepiest things ever but I love Troy just yelling Noooo! at the end of his. As a little background to the episode, the writers were testing the main strengths of the group. For instance when Pierce and Jeff went things were on a general upward note for the group but when Abed and (especially) Troy went things were either really sad or chaos. It was mentioned in the writer's room that Troy was more of the heart of the group than anyone else. This was where I really got to know Donald Glover's acting and Troy may be my favorite character when I actually think about it (with Britta a close second). Anyway, glad you enjoyed the episode :)

I'm glad you guys enjoyed this one but why wouldn't you? This is one of the all time greats. I love the exploration of each character and their relationships. For some reason every time Shirley says, "Of you!" in the Darkest Timeline I always crack up!

Yea this episode is excellent, not just for the fun storytelling format, but because it shows us something about each character. When Abed leaves, everyone gets mad at each other. When Troy leaves, the apartment burns down and Pierce dies. When Jeff leaves, everyone starts having fun and Britta finally doesn't feel the need to get high. It's a really unique way to delve into group dynamic and the importance each character has to it.

This was a Brilliant episode and I loved all the alternate timelines but my favourite one was where Pierce got shot in the leg that whole scenario was hilarious and I loved the post credit scene where it showed the outcome of that bonkers timeline. Can't wait for the next one.
