It's as hilarious as in the musical entry number, Dan Harmon managed to include all the requests from the network executives and poke fun at them all season long.

It's weird, when I was thinking about this episode between viewings, I didn't particularly like it, but I actually really enjoyed this. It has the introduction of inspector space time, and I really like the song at the beginning. I didn't notice until I saw a comment about it on youtube, but now everytime I watch it I see the girl in the purple top racing to the other side of the cafeteria at the end. I really liked Pierce this episode, and the idea of the magic table is just so funny to me, especially when it leads to Jeff trying to destroy it. Also, Jim Rash became a main cast member this season, so expect to see more of the Dean.

I loved your reactions -- you always seem to catch all the little details. And this episode had a lot of them.... starting with that cheesy colorful opening number. As @Constanza Ruiz Altamirano said, it mentioned the things they were asked to do: "Be less crazy... more mainstream... more broadly appealing." And have the dean be less weird. And then it's announced that none of those changes will happen! (It also feels like Dan Harmon was getting in one more jab at Glee.) Also Abed's distress at the loss of Cougar Town, and then the short-lived Cougarton Abbey. At least he's now found Inspector Spacetime, which has many decades' worth of episodes.

I really love the guest roles in this episode. Both Michael Kenneth Williams and (especially) John Goodman made this episode. The air conditioning repair school plays a mini storyline through the season so there's lots of Goodman to appear (especially when you find out about 'the truest repairman'). I agree with what someone else said, episode 4 of this season is probably the most well-written of the series and although not one of my top favorites really enjoyable. Just a few more episodes to go ;)

I loved the Cameo's in this episode but this wasn't the funniest episode compared to the last two episodes. Can't wait for the next one

This is such a good season! It has some of my personal favorites late in the season. In this one, as lover of British TV, the Cougarton Abbey and Inspector Spacetime stuff lands well with me.

The opening was suppose to be Jeff's thoughts on Pierce not being here if you didn't notice, because I didn't the first time I saw it. Also I feel like Greendale has never had money so business as usual.

Monkey Gaaaas! Great reaction and this one of my favorite episodes. The play on 2001 is really nice and I think this season is when Community reaches its fullest form. Just like season 2 there are many gems to look forward to.

Since it's never really addressed I thought I should give a little fun fact about the backstory between how Dean Pelton became the dean and what's up with the city college guy. Apparently they were working on a whole convoluted backstory for the dean in an homage to a Simpson's episode I forgot the name of where Dean Pelton actually isn't the real Dean Pelton and that he stole the real one's identity after an accident at dean camp left the real one dead. The dean of city college knows his dark secret and toys with him like that because they went to dean camp together. I'm not making this up one of the writers confirmed on twitter this was in the works lmao.
