This is a wonderful episode!!!! I like how Zuko needs to figure out a healthier way of motivating himself opposed to what he learned as a child. I also enjoy finding out about what happened to the dragons and how people in the fire nation had dragons before Sozin ordered the hunting of all the dragons. Sadly, dragons are probably how Sozin genocided the air nomads, since the air temples are nearly impossible to get to unless you're flying. Sozin most likely ordered the hunting of dragons because most of the dragons were horrified by what had transpired and decided they wanted nothing to do with the majority of the fire nation. Threatened by the dragons leaving Sozin set up the propaganda of hunting dragons so he could kill them as punishment for leaving. By the way the percussion music that plays during the end is actually Zuko's theme and a variation of it usually plays almost every time he is fighting someone other than aang.

I love how lit up her face was watching this and talking about it after. I feel like you loved it as much as I did. I love how it built off The Headband episode too, that the fire nation doesn't dance anymore. You know they've lost their way. Evil isn't inherent in fire, it's been corrupted. As for building trust, Aang down, three to go. Can he do it?

I don't think they rode the dragons up the temples. It was the power of the comet.

Do you know that in the dragons fire Zuko's whole scar went to the other side and both them were inverted. I think the characters put this into the show as not mistake but to show they changed. Also, you may find the joke his scar was on other side of his face but he will say it has never changed lol

Also, there is a theory that the air benders were defeated by dragons and the old fire lord wanted them destroyed so no one could get the dragons by hunting them into extinction. That is probably how they got up the mountains to the air temples since they didn't have any major technology yet to help them.
