Bravo for your commentary on this episode. You are both way smarter and more attentive than I am, because when it first aired I totally missed the Abed storyline going on in the background, and then the next day everyone else was commenting on it and I had no idea what they meant. And you got it the first time. From reading about this, I've learned that the new parents were first seen in Season 1. Remember the Dean's STD Fair, where it was discovered that the condoms had holes, and Abed told everyone not to use the condoms? We saw one couple throw their condom away, and here's the result, 9 months later.

Abed On Baby Delivering Duties Were Strange But Hilarious, Also Annie And Britta Storyline Was Unnecessary But It Delivered One Of The Best Lines Of This Episode From Shirley When She Called Them "Skinny Bitches" Also Pierce And His Cult Is Getting Ridiculers, But I Hope We Will Get To Explore More About His Cult Later on. Can't Wait For The Next Episode.

Hey guys i too applaud you for catching Abeds side story the first time around. You´re right, the death theme this week wasn´t that funny but very character building i think. Pierce firmly believing that his mom got vaporised, even after she disregarded that via the CD message was really heartwarming. Everybody has the right to choose to believe in what they want, even if we might not get it. And when Jeff and Troy realized that, they turned around and got ice cream for real. So i loved the message here. Come to think of it, Pierces mom dying and Abed delivering a baby was a really nice imagery. Great reaction as always and i catch you in the next one.

Congratulations.. you’ve now reached the “Golden Age/ Era” of Community, imo which is from here to season 4. Season 4 is where this show drops bc of reasons which I can get into later but for right now just enjoy these episodes bc things go a little downhill after. Loving these reactions, till next time!

Abeds side story with the pregnancy is also a nod to the timeline. If you remember that there was an episode with std awareness where the condoms were made badly and broke. At the end of that Abed said over the intercom, not to use the condoms, but not why or to use other one. This episode aired 9 months after that one meaning that was one of the people that had sex that night and didn't use a condom because of Abed. This is why the boyfriend is so angry at him.
