HAHA - been waiting for this one! What an amazing twist. I totally didn't see it coming, but once it was revealed it made everything that had happened in the show previously make sense! And Michael's evil laugh...it literally gave me chills the first time I heard it. Brilliant!

YES, I was so excited for this one and you guys did not disappoint! It's rare to find reactors who have never seen this show, so I was really looking forward to that plot twist. That 'Wait What?' shirt was oddly fitting in the moment too. I'm hyped for season 2 now and will continue to look forward to your reactions!

Very nice reaction. I didn't watch S1 live, I binged it to catch up for S2. So that twist totally blindsided me since I didn't have time to really examine the show too much. But all the clues were there! It's actually a lot of fun to re-watch S1 after you find out they're in the Bad Place. Everything feels different once you know that Michael and everyone else in the neighborhood are all the bad guys playing around with the main four humans. I can't wait til you guys get to S2, it is a riot.

Loved The Reaction As Always, You Faces During The Big Reveal Was Priceless. I Couldn't Believe It Was The Bad Place And It's A Credit To The Writers Of This Show. I Loved The Big Reveal Because It Caught Me Off Guard Because I Didn't See Tahani And Chidi As Bad People Because On The Surface They Look Genuinely Good People And I Loved How The Show Explained Why They Belonged In The Bad place , And Michael Played The Character Brilliantly And Got All The Others To Do The Same That Was Genius Writing, Also Loved The Short Flash Backs They Showed With The Fake Couple (Private I / Couples Therapist). Can't Wait For Season 2 And I Really Enjoyed Your Reaction To Season 1.

Heck yes, totally agree and totally didn't see it coming..at all! The writers did an amazing job and absolutely loved the flashback of the fake couple- I KNEW IT WAS TOO PERFECT..lol :D I can't wait for the ride that is Season 2. This show is incredibly unique, creative, hilarious, and written so well! Love it!

SPOILERS: I don't know if anybody reads these so far after the upload, but as for "is there anything in Michael's first two flashbacks that would give away what was happening?", I can only think of two, and they're very slight: (1) The general darkness and gloominess of the offices... and on first viewing, nobody would think that meant anything significant. (2) When Michael got his idea, he wrote "The Good Place," in quotation marks, as the name of his blueprint. If someone were really brilliant at finding clues, that could suggest that it isn't really the good place, but just a plan for a neighborhood to imitate the good place. But that's not conclusive on first viewing.
