Loved The Reaction Guys, Michael Burnhams Past Will Be Revealed In Later Episodes. Also Twist And Turns Of This Show Are UnPredictable, Can't Wait For The Next Episode.

I finally had the chance to watch this one with you guys. I have a lot I'd like to comment but I'll save it for later when you both have more context. For now I'll focus on Michael. You guys are right, she's a real hothead in this episode and severely emotional. Though, of course, this is because she's in the midst of an extremely traumatic situation. We know from Sarek in this episode that she had a personal and violent history with the Klingons from prior to the start of the series, although we don't yet know the particulars. I honestly feel like she is experiencing pretty severe PTSD throughout the second half of the episode brought on from her fighting the Klingon warrior during her spacewalk. It doesn't excuse her rash actions but I think it goes a long way to explain why she makes the choices she does. I have a lot of empathy for Michael. Her story and journey really resonate with me. I can't wait til you guys see more and I can really dig into who Michael is with you.
