Great reaction. As one who LOVED and SUGGESTED Misfits Nathan is an as. Yes he is funny, sometimes endearing, but also a twat 89% of the time. No one should crap on someone’s initial reaction to a character cause if you loved him day one then there’s something to be said about you as a person. Just the facts. I do love how he is the first character to find growth as his situation is rather dire being homeless. Alicia clearly doesn’t understand how being pretty had hurt her chances of being with a guy that likes her for her and has become used to men’s attentions so long she thinks it’s not her fault that’s all they see which is sad as she has learned to accept and value only her sexuality. Simon (invisible guy) clearly has some deep psychological issues and the bathroom scene showcases that he’s just on the edge of crossing some lines which makes him the most concerning character seeing as he’s not evil but constantly being ignored and diminished. Poor Ruth, but I like that the show doesn’t shy from dark conclusions.
