I thought this was a really great episode, with great acting from the actress who played the mom, Gideon, Hotchner, as well as the actor who played the creep of a serial killer, I also have to give a shoutout to JJ for her scene of facing off against the creep of a serial killer as well. This was a sad episode, watching the mother, who was innocent, make the ultimate sacrifice of letting herself be executed for crimes she didn't commit, just so her son could be free and have a happy life, making herself her husbands last victim. Although, at least because of Hotch, her husband thought he failed before he was executed. You could see the sadness and desperation of Gideon wanting to be able to save her but understanding what she was doing and having to let her make her choice. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
