This is one of only two episodes that don't resonate with me this season, although I'd say this is mid-good for me. I enjoy the character development between "Me" and the Doctor, and of course, I always love Capaldi's humorous quips of which there were plenty. I wasn't a fan of the A plot in the slightest. It was fairly boring, and the fire-breathing Lion creature didn't impress me much (channeling my inner Shania Twain here). Looking forward to the next one

I found the stuff with the lion and amulet, not that interesting, even watching this reaction and seeing the episode again, I don't really remember much about the lion's part of the show. The episode did have some very funny lines though. I really loved the discussions between Me(Ashildr) and the Doctor, also hearing about all the things she's done during the time she was alive. I thought that scene where the Doctor was reading her journals, hearing about the losses she's gone through, of the man she loved and her children dying, was sad and very well done. I definitely understood the reason for the Doctor not traveling with Me, I was kind of thinking before he said it, that they would be bad for each other, the companions usually remind the Doctor of his humanity, they would end up doing the opposite for each other. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
