I thought this was a good episode, I thought there were some slow moments, some funny moments, I really liked the Doctor translating for the baby and the continued connection with the Doctor and Clara. I liked Maisie Williams in the episode, I thought she did great. I also love that speech the Doctor made when he realized why he chose his face. I think I might of mentioned it in a comment, that Peter Capaldi was the father of the family the Doctor saved in the Pompeii episode, that also had Karen Gillan Amy Pond in it as a random soothsayer girl. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.

I loved this episode because it gave us a fun Doctor Who villain to beat but then turned on itself at the end with the revelation as to why he picked this face (A lot of us remembered him from before and really wanted to know) and that Ashildr was now immortal. I really liked the last shot of her living through,the obviously, many many many years and maybe turning a bit sour. Also, the flashbacks weren't just from the Pompeii episode. They were also from season 8 (yes I'm saying season lol) episode 1 when 12 sees himself for the first time and recognizes the face and wonders why he chose it. I don't think he remembered where he had seen that face before at the time. And yes he saved 10 saved Caecilius and his family and he and Donna became the household gods for them (one of my favorite moments in the show).
