One of the key features of the Fallout games is that there are no clear good guys or bad guys. After all, "good guys" and "bad guys" destroyed the world! Instead there are various groups and characters with their own beliefs, goals and methods for achieving those goals. Through encounters with these groups players have to choose what they'd do to survive. Each of the three main characters kinda represents a different way that people play the games. I love all three characters but Maximus is the most interesting to me *because* of his ambiguity. He has a clear goal but he's trying to figure out what right and wrong is for himself as he goes along. He questions his motives which is very human to me. He seems to want to be heroic but doesn't always go about it in the best way. Can you blame him?
