I like watching newer reactions to Criminal Minds, because in the few reactions I've seen of new viewers to this show, everyone seems to like Gideon and Elle, I've always liked them, but back when I was first watching this show, it seemed like I couldn't find anyone that liked them. Also, with new viewers, seeing them react to Reverse Flash, but back when this first aired, he wasn't Reverse Flash yet, before Flash I mostly new him from shows like Carrie Diaries and Eli Stone, where he was decidedly not a villain. I liked this episode, I thought it was intriguing and had great performances, I also liked seeing Elisabeth Harnois, who I've been a fan of in a lot of things, including One Tree Hill, I'm not sure if you've seen that show but she was the clean teen that dated Mouth, she was also in a lot of other things including CSI, which I've mentioned in a previous comment for this show, as one of the only other crime shows I can think of that have a interesting, stylized way of dealing with crimes. Also, Gideon can be savage when he's got a plan. Great Reaction, I look forward to the next one.

I agree that they do a great job of having side characters who don't play it cheesy. Oftentimes in shows like this, the need for so many one-time characters can lead to them getting fairly unknown actors who are trying too hard to be noticed. This show always does a really great job of getting believable characters/actors. Kudos to the casting department. And the scene with Gideon passing around the orange. I'm not sure if that's just something Mandy Patinkin improvised, or if it was written in the scrip, but it shows his true nature; he clearly cares about his team, and almost acts as "care-giver" over them.
