Google Drive Tech Issues | Temp Solutions (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

For those running into issues playing videos from the drive - this is a temporary issue that happens once in a while with google drive. It usually clears up within a day or so. Having dealt with this in the past, we found two workarounds...

On mobile devices, if you select the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner and select the option "Open with" it will play from one of your mobile apps existing video players.

On a laptop, if you select the option under 3rd party suggested apps and select video player for google drive - it will convert and the video will then play.
