RJ and I always seem to be on the opposite side of the fence when it comes to which episodes we like and don't like haha. I really don't care for this episode at all. Actually this is the only time I've done a rewatch of it, usually I skip this one,, and to be quite honest I zoned out and missed about 10 minutes of what was happening. Wow, can't believe we are getting ready to close out season 8, 2 more episodes, a Christmas special, then we are in to season 9.

I never really loved this episode, I don't dislike it, it's just not my favorite. Honestly, since Doctor Who is one of my favorite shows, I rarely dislike any episodes, I don't even dislike the farting Slitheen episodes, there's really only 1 episode in all of the Doctor Who episodes, I actually dislike. I just find this episode to be kind of slow and honestly, I don't think they fully thought out it's concept, some stuff feels like it doesn't completely make sense, some stuff feels like it isn't fully explained, like the the little girl's connection with the woods and why her sister was gone and then came back at the end of the episode. But I'm glad you both enjoyed it for the most part, I liked Danny Pink's response to Clara in this episode, the 'fear less, trust more' line, he just want's her to be honest with him, doesn't really sound like he plans on giving her any ultimatum. Like I said in the episode when she first lied to him, I didn't think it was necessary to lie, he wasn't going to tell her what to do, just what he thought, he just doesn't like the Doctor and the Doctor doesn't like him, but honesty is definitely the best choice. I also kind of liked his explanation for why he didn't want to travel through space and time, he's seen enough in war, he just wants a calm life, in the present.
