I feel bad for Coach Taylor and Matt, so much pressure, this town is insane. Yeah, Buddy is Lyla's dad, which is great for her I'm sure, that conversation he was having with her mom, was basically like, The mom "We need to talk about are daughter", Buddy "Who? You mean football". Tyra and Riggins, based on what we've seen, don't seem to have the healthiest relationship. It seems he sleeps with other girls and she makes out with Smash, he seems to show her a lot of disdain and dislike, she seems to accept it for some reason, definitely not the healthiest. The Lyla and Riggins kiss, I really don't like cheating, usually it makes me instantly, be like, well, those characters suck, hopefully, I like you again someday. But I can also understand they were both going through a lot emotionally, they both had someone they care about get hurt and had his life and all of there lives changed forever. Riggins had just been forced to face up to his guilt for thinking it was his fault for Jason's accident. She had been relentlessly positive, which I'm pretty sure she didn't actually completely feel, I'm pretty sure she was trying to convince herself, just as much as Jason, that everything was going to be fine. But the pressure of pretty much putting her life on hold to be at the hospital everyday, the feeling of doing it on her own, since the rest of the friend group, specifically Riggins, considering how close he was to Jason, weren't showing up, so she felt like she had to put it on herself to be the positive one, the conversation she had with her mom, the conversation she overheard her mom and dad having and everything Jason said to her, made her have to face and realize that Jason will likely never walk again. Which led to that scene, which I thought was a really well acted scene, where the positivity started breaking, where she actually started to process, which I don't think she had yet, at all, what happened to Jason, with her asking for help because she didn't really know what to do, with her letting all her anger, frustration and fear out, which led to them kissing. 2 broken people dealing with the person their closest to getting hurt and not knowing what to do. However despite saying all that and understanding all that, I still don't like cheating, but I also can't hate them. Anyway, sorry for the long comment, I had more in the comment, tried to edit it down a little, I didn't want the comment to be longer than it already is, so I hope it all made sense. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
