The beginning of the episode is supposed to be a glimpse into a random offscreen adventure that took place before this episode, setting the scene for Clara managing her double life. They were exposed to the sun, and the next cut was Clara meeting Danny for a date and him commenting on how tanned she is. Clara lies and says she had been using a sunbed. For me, this is definitely more of a relationship building episode, Clara's secret life being revealed to Danny, and Danny being a soldier revealed to the Doctor. Is this going to make things easier on Clara moving forward, or is it going to complicate things further? Guess we'll find out soon. I did like how the Doctor just assumed Adrian (practically Matt Smith's double) was the boyfriend. Narcissistic much? Great reaction as always, looking forward to the next one.

I liked the episode, the alien robot part wasn't that interesting but I did like the Clara, Danny and The Doctor part of the show. I like that the show is showing more of Clara's life outside of the TARDIS, being a teacher, especially knowing how much she likes being a teacher, considering multiple versions of Clara, that we've met, were usually teaching/taking care of kids in some way. I also do like Danny and honestly the fact that we see so much of her life outside of the TARDIS, gives me hope that whenever she leaves, it will be to just stay here as a teacher and not have something sad or terrible happen like Rose, Amy & Rory or Donna and more like Martha but a little less sad. It's interesting seeing the dynamic between the Doctor and Danny, with the Doctor hating soldiers so much, which he always has in a way, but never quite as much as this Doctor does, judging Danny and being insulting and rude, but then Danny is insulting and rude back, usually it's the Doctor not always treating the guys aka Mickey and Rory the best and they just take it and try to make the Doctor like them, but Danny doesn't care if the Doctor likes him and doesn't like the Doctor himself. Anyway, now that Clara's no longer living a double life and is being honest with Danny maybe it will be a lot easier for her. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
