Exciting to have such a wickedly disturbing show in the regular rotation! Definitely helpful to watch through this one more consistently as the main plot unfolds episode by episode. The case-of-the-week makes for incredible, horrifying spectacle (this is network television?!) but it's the character dynamics and the mounting tension between them that makes this show so good. Like in this episode with Hannibal being a confidante and shoulder to lean on for Jack while discussing the trainee of Jack's that Hannibal murdered. Like Hannibal telling Dr. Chilton that he supports his decision to use "psychic driving" on Dr. Gideon (repeating details of the Chesapeake Ripper case to convince an unstable mind that he is something he's not) when Hannibal himself is the Chesapeake Ripper and detests having a copycat take credit for his homicidal arrangements. Like Will Graham feeling more lost and tainted by each crime scene he enters, desperate for a lifeline, and instead is tied to the anchor that is Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a being of pure evil. Can't wait for more!

Aww thanks for the shoutout guys! I have loved watching your reactions, they have been worth the sponsors! Glad we got another reaction so quickly, I’m hoping people vote this into rotation because it’s starting to really get into the main plot. So we had one of my favourite characters, Dr Chilton, in this episode. He is so arrogant, that doesn’t change even after everything he goes through, however I think he becomes likeable the more episodes you see him in (at least for me he did). The murders will keep on getting more gruesome, the writers always find new ways to surprise you with the murder tableau’s. Eddie Izzard is absolutely fantastic in this show, lucky for us he is a recurring character. Yup, Hannibal is both the copycat killer and the ripper, and boy is he pissed someone else is getting the credit for his work. Hannibal gets great enjoyment from messing with Jack, he of course knows what happened to Miriam yet he asks Jack to relive it, really twisting the knife. Yeah, everyone is always eating at Hannibal’s, I would not be invited back because no way would I eat tongue! Hannibal’s cannibal puns always make me laugh, it’s just a private joke for himself lol. It is so interesting that it’s not until the 6th episode we actually see Hannibal be violent. I think it works well though as the danger comes from what Hannibal can manipulate other people to do. Ooh Jrabbit you make some really good guesses but I’m not going to spoil anything!😄 Happy you both are still enjoying the show and I’m hoping it stays in rotation until the final!
