An incoherent mess. Chibnall was just throwing things into this episode without any rhyme or reason. There's no connective tissue between anything that happened. It was a constant stream of this happened and then this happened, it felt like a slideshow instead of something that was actually progressing naturally. It was just all over the place. It's still only the first episode of what is technically a six part story. There's still time to turn it around, although I don't have much faith in Chibnall tbh.

I pretty much felt the same way. I'll nonetheless wait and see how it all plays out before giving my verdict - but I was quite uninvolved in the whole thing,and had to keep reminding myself that I was watching Doctor Who.
