Hello everyone!

Goodness it's been a couple months and I didn't even say anything before disappearing. My sincerest apologies.

I recently started freelancing with a few independent artists recently which has offered me some sweet income. I am still on the lookout for studio jobs and it's been getting tougher to break in because of the pandemic causing junior jobs to be taken up by veteran artists out of crunch and budgeting, but I have hope.

With that out of the way, I wanted to talk about something important. I am back in therapy and looking into medication again. New symptoms have been popping up, pointing to complex trauma (C-PTSD), ADHD, and Bipolar II.

I received these new diagnoses over the course of the last few months, and it's been a lot to take in. While my current medication has been working to cover my anxiety and depression, those issues are part of even bigger issues- the diagnoses above. I am exploring extra medication to take alongside my current one in order to cover those ailments. I am also in family counseling with my personal therapy, which has been very helpful.

It's been tough I won't lie. Part of these symptoms and diagnoses showing up is because of trauma during my upbringing, and I am currently living in the same environment due to the pandemic. I'm looking into moving, but California costs make it difficult without a full-time job.

I'm starting a new project soon and the stress of new medication and handling all of my new health expenses and appointments is over-with, so I'm stable again. I should be back to drawing without being as overwhelmed and stressed now that I have some direction and structure.

Thanks for being patient. I hope you can review my commission information if you're interested!

Cynthia
