WHAT’S NEW ON YOUTUBE

Well, even without Patreon we have kept busy. In case you weren’t aware, basketball is really having a moment. The NBA is doing playoffs this year (congrats NBA fans!) so we’re honoring that bold move by showcasing basketball on YouTube. Oh, and Clara covered yet another fantastic baseball beef, which she produced right before having a healthy baby boy in March (hence her being a little absent of late).

In case you missed a video when it went live, we’ve got you covered.

Oh, and tomorrow (Saturday, June 1) there’s a fresh episode of M.V.P. hitting the channel. Don’t tell anyone. Or wait shit tell everyone, we need the views. I always mix those up.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR SECRET BASE

Well, June on Patreon is getting kicked off with another episode of Pretty Good, this time focusing on the history of people slipping on banana peels. This is another example of videos we genuinely would not get to make if it weren’t for you, so thanks for the excuse to see Jon take on something stupid and turn it into a very thoughtful, enjoyable piece. Still kinda stupid though.

We’re also going to be dropping another early access Rewinder for paid subscribers and are hard at work on episode two of The Annex. No spoilers on those, but I’ll say a towel will come in handy for both pieces.

On YouTube, June is going to see new episodes of Beef, Rewinder, and Prism, plus Kofie with M.V.P. We’ve got more basketball for the NBA Finals, maybe a little football, and also we’re trying out a marathon of Collapse episodes so if you’ve ever wanted to just watch two hours of dynasties falling apart - we’ve got you covered.

Ok, now as a treat for getting through all of that info, here’s something different. I really enjoy talking to the rest of Secret Base. Rarely do we stay on topic and unsurprisingly, everyone is capable of dropping nonsense in their own way. For posterity purposes, and to give myself little treats when I’m cleaning up my desktop, I often take screenshots of moments that for some reason brought me joy. Here is a small collection.
