Dorabella, Princess of Fae (Patreon)

Once there was a clique of five fairy sisters living on Lorwyn called the Maveen Clique.
They were very close and were always together. Often they could be found pulling pranks and what not upon unsuspecting victims.
What set them aside from most other fairies however was that they all held magic well beyond what a normal fae of the plane would. Besella, Ibriella, mentella, feniella and the oldest Codella all held commands over each element and runic law of the plane. This meant that if any of the sisters were in danger, the other four would protect their kin with full force.
One day however, Codella, the oldest sister that was the creative and impulsive of the sisters found herself captured by something that none of them could protect her from. An enigmatic being said to roam the plane, trapping people relentlessly in its sub-plane. The four other sisters could do nothing but watch their sister get pulled into the foggy grasp of Muriel, the living scarecrow. The four sisters heard nothing but the screams and cries echoing the fogbank.
Then when it got silent, they all felt something collectively snap within themselves. The plane melted away and they found themselves on a different world. The four of them were in too much pain however to look around as something was burning deep within themselves. The sisters felt like they were gonna burn up, so they did something unthinkable. They used their magic to combine their own essences together. They transformed themselves into a small woman, fusing their mind, souls and spark together in order to survive.
The form was reminiscent of the Queen of the Fae, Oona.
Thus they renamed themselves Dorabella, princess of the Fae. They now wander the multiverse in search of something that would fill this emptiness in their hearts, all while celebrating their impulsive sister by pulling pranks on anyone and everyone they come across with on all planes they visit.
But that is all it is, a celebration and memory. For despite all the prank and laugh, they feel nothing but an hollow emptiness from losing a part of themselves.
