Got a little behind posting these! Here are some absolutely blursed punch ups we did on PUTJ weeks 38-43 (I'm missing my live performance of 'Goodbye Earl' week 42 because I have to go bounce it out, I'll do that this week!). Thank you all so much for listening and don't forget that our podcast is on video now here:

I just checked out the video, and I have to say: it's not Julian Shapiro-Barnum's shirt that requires an explanation, it's Evan's. Why why why "Why why why"??? Also, as for finally posting the punch ups, if there's one thing I can rely on you guys for, it's unreliability, so great job! Also, one thing for the next Bros-Only-Corrections segment: you neglected to mention that Goodbye Earl sets a record for ONLY song by a group or artist mentioned not just twice but twice on the same album (i.e. Fly, see also Episode 37 Cowboy Take Me Away), and therefore is found to be in violation of one of the fundamental principles of Punch Up The Jam, which is to (try to) never cover the same artist twice. (Though, to be fair, Miel did do two seperate Madonna songs, at different points in her career.) The fact that you got around that rule with the crap from Paul McCartney's and John Lennon's solo careers juxtaposed to Octopus's Garden by the Beatles DOES fit the criteria, but doing a second song from the same album is a big no-no. Otherwise, keep up the great work!

i think, but i am not sure, that the bottom of evan's shirt says "I just really like frisbee, ok?" tbh we are no longer holding ourself to miel & demi's no-repeat artist rule. If a guest really wants to do, for example, another bruno mars song, we will probably do it, although we would try to space it out. Our only meager goal is to not punch up songs that they already punched up, which we have already notably failed at once ("everytime we touch")
