Patreon Revamp

So some of you have probably noticed, I've been uploading a bunch of things recently, all of my comics are now available here on my Patreon page.

Now, you can find everything you need in the TAGS at the top of the page feed.

This also means no more weekly passwords! :D

The current Variety Comic will have its own dedicated post where I will upload the newest pages as attachment files. Also, once the comic is completed, it will stay up for 2 weeks and then be moved to the Archive.

The Archive tag contains every Exclusive comic I've done, each with their own post. You also have the choice to download the comic as individual JPGs or a single PDF file. These will always be available.

I'll also still be doing individual posts for updates and comic previews, separated into their own tags as well.

Reasons for Changes

I was always unsatisfied with two things;
Third-party websites scraping content, and my solution of off-site storage of content.

Basically, there is always risk of posting content to Patreon, and for the most part I've managed to keep a few of my works from being spread around. Not all, but a few.

There are bots and websites that scrape content from Patreon campaigns and all that. So my solution was to just put it on my own storage site and password protect it. 

In the end, it became more work than it was worth.

So with the pay-up-front feature Patreon has, along with just including my work as attachments, that will hopefully keep things more manageable.

Cup O' Love

I'm getting into a workflow that allows me to update the main free webcomic more often than before. 

Right now, I've got a every-other week schedule going on for Cup O' Love, and it's working out for me at the moment. So I will continue that until the current chapter is wrapped-up, which will be soon!

Once the current chapter is done, I'll be taking a short break from it to retool some things—this means a new format for the story and some a new look as well.

Mya and Janet mean a lot to me, and I know there are a lot of people who feel the same way about them. So I want to make sure I can continue the story in a way that is more manageable for me on top of the other projects I have going on.

Reward Stream

This coming weekend, Saturday, October 2 - Monday, October 4 I will be holding the reward livestream, most likely starting around 12:00 pm.

So for the higher tiers, please make sure to send in your requests before the end of the streams!

Discord

The new discord has been up for a bit now, and it's still growing!
If you ever want to chat with me or other Dsan fans, this is the place to go. 

It's also no pressure and completely optional, it's just something I want to do to keep connected a little more with my community. :)

Website and Game

So two things for this part; my current website situation and my upcoming Visual Novel game.

I'll be getting some nice and shiny new hosting soon! 

My new site will become a Hub for everything I do, including comics, illustrations, commissions, socials and storefront.
Most likely will be up sometime next month! :D

As for my upcoming game "Hard Times at Sequoia State" we are at a good place now and things are really making progress.
Also, there will be some more good news coming soon, and then we will really be moving at full-steam when it happens! :D

Wrap-up

August and September have been some turbulent months, on top of the entirety of 2021 as well, but I'm still here and getting things done.

Despite setbacks and the negative aspects, I have even better prospects that just happened to arrive at the perfect time to make those small disappointments even smaller.

Seriously, getting out of the troubled times and now seeing clearly, there are a lot of opportunities out there, and it feels good to be able to have a refreshed perspective on things.

Anyway, as always your support means a lot to me and I appreciate everybody who enjoys my work!
