Goats & Reindeer (Patreon)

Design exploration feat. Mona and Ted. Aiming for them to look like mother and son despite being different species. Mona’s hair in her last appearance bugged me a bit, looked just a wee bit too human. Decided to take inspiration from irl long-haired goats and have her facial fur become a sort of mane. Is she looking a little familiar? >:3 Some of my older followers may remember my design for Demeter, mother of Discord- I recycled some of her into Mona. Mona also got some tweaks to her color palette, pushing her and Ted to look juuuust a little more “Christmas-y”. Teddy gets a lil Rudolph-style red splotch on his nose!

also, have some babie teddy. Young carnivores (think puppies and kittens) start their lives kinda small and stubby, while young ungulates are all long, wobbly, gangly legs. Lil Ted was a boisterous, verrrry clumsy mama’s boy- Mona had to deal with many a dropped dish and skinned knee from Teddy’s constant eagerness to “help”.
