I'm not done with pony stuff, folks, not yet. ;3 It'll just be sporadic, a la whenever the horse drawin' mood randomly strikes me. One thing I always wanted to do with the pandoraverse (but struggled to find the time/motivation), were little speculative pieces exploring how the cast might be doing a ways into the future. Here's PB Sandwich and Midnight Abyss. 

Sometime after Missus and Mister Cake retire, PB and Midnight decide to open a curio shop together, which sells everything from ancient cursed tomes to haunted amulets to potion ingredients to spooky spider-shaped cookies, which can be ordered and enjoyed with coffee in the shop's built-in cafe. Bertram has been employee of the month for several years running. The pair bats around the idea of officially settling down together, with Midnight largely being the reluctant party (and PB being respectful of that), until Midnight gets annoyed doing the shop's finances one year, knocks the stack of paperwork off her desk, and (very romantically) calls to PB across the shop if he wants to get married....for tax purposes. PB drops the (very valuable) glass amulet he was polishing and gapes at Midnight like a landed trout, and Midnight figures this is apparently kind of an important question she's asking. Might as well do it right. She grabs a nearby (only slightly cursed) crystal, and uses her magic to superheat it into a ring. Then she asks her longtime peanut butter bf to marry her, which is met with tears and snot and  perhaps the loudest musical number PB has ever burst into in his life ("yes yes yes YES YES YES!!"). They got married (PB wore the dress), and currently live together in jointly filed tax bliss. They have one child, who I am tentatively naming Bramble.
