Requests are being worked on! Just feeling guilty over not posting in a while, so have some wips in the meantime. I sincerely apologize for the lull lately. I'm undergoing some life changes right now that've left me completely mentally exhausted, as though someone scooped out all my creative mojo and replaced it with old molasses. So! Context for these doodles. Skye pitches for one of Critter City's local softball teams, the Lightning Bugs. A formerly casual team made of little old grandmas and bored housewives, Skye jumped in and dragged everyone kicking and screaming into being actually kinda-sorta good. Skye is insecure about a whole lot of things, but softball is absolutely not one of them. She'll step up to plate, spit, then strike out animals three times her own size. And maybe (definitely) insult their mother. Fortunately cheerleader Sunny attends every game to keep Skye humble. Why yes, I was halfway into drawing this when I realized softball does not have cheerleaders. I guess Sunny either doesn't know, or doesn't care. Either way, Skye sure appreciates the support!
