Hello,

Here's the WIP of our third illustration this month: Atago from Azur Lane!

It's been more than a year since I drew some AL. Time flies huh. Lately AL released a lot of amazing figurs (I even bought some of them), and the last one they released is one of Atago and Takao together in their Race Queen outfits. It really made me want to draw one of them so I picked Atago! I know a lot of you have been wanting to see more Azur Lane, I hope you'll be happy!

I’ve been eying those Atago and Takao figures too! Though I’m holding out for Mimeyoi’s figure for Atago in this very same pose!

Yeah I don't know if I should buy it or not I definitely want to get Mimeyoi's figure though. They always base their figure on the in-game skin artworks, this is why I picked this pose. I changed the angle though, which wasn't an easy task haha

Im glad you had great execution for this angle! And her left hand isn’t covering the “good parts” like the in-game artwork. Oh ,and the left leg over right allows a little foot tease for us “cultured” fellows haha

omg this would be a good wallpaper for me desktop. i hope it would fit well!! also have you considered looking into NIKKE characters in the future? (im so addicted to it lmfao)

Yeah I adapted the pose a tiny bit to fit the angle a bit more. As for the foot it's more of a coincidence than anything, I didn't really put it there as a tease, I just thought it'd make sense to see that part of the left a little bit xD

Hmmm I imagine if you crop a bit of the top and the bottom it could fit a wallpaper format. I won't play Nikke at all honestly. Unless some of the girls become popular and I happen to learn about them through fanarts, I won't know anything about any of them

yeah I agree with you, i think Nikke is still like developing in terms of getting that same popularity as like genshin or like azur lane. they still have a long ways to go. but yea i kinda understand that you know the character more in order to draw it :D

Meh, I doubt it's gonna reach Genshin's popularity. The game is way too focused on fanservice and sexualisation to reach such a wide audience
