FDG is done ~~

It's nice from time to time to draw a design that comes from the original design

I spent a really long time on that artwork, I struggled a lot with it, and I can't say I'm satisfied with the result. I'm questionning a lot of things in my art lately and I hope I'll be able to find what changes I need to make to like it more

it's great you retain the drive to keep improving your art and not getting complacent from praising comments but, i'm a bit curious by what you mean by not being satisfied. would you mind going a bit deeper? if you can't explain it easily it's fine because i don't understand how one piece of art can be different or not as good as another of the same which is why my comments are mostly joking anyway.

Sure I'm always looking for things that would make my art better. It can be general stuff like anatomy, or it can be more specific stuff like "how should I paint the eyes ?". For example, I don't like how I paint hair. It's getting better over time but I don't like it, it looks too "flat" and plastic-like imo. So I gather references of artworks I like from various artists and try to correct what I don't like by taking inspiration from these other artworks However it's really hard to find how to paint something differently and it's a really slow and frustrating process :/ In this artwork there are several things I don't like about the way I painted them : her hair, her eye, the background (mostly the pillar right behind her), the clothes folds aren't that nice either, and her tights
