Update on the DMCA situation & some changes (Patreon)

Hey again. I'm making this post to update you guys on the whole DMCA situation that happened last week. If you read the last update post I made, I mentioned that I had until October 15th to resolve the issue by deleting the N/intendo posts on my NSFW twitter and notifying twitter support to withdraw the counter-claim or I'll be fined $150,000 for each claimed post. Now that the 15th has passed, I will tell you what has happened during that timeframe and what I might be changing here on Patreon from now on.

Let's start with what I ended up doing before the 15th. During the limited time I had, I was trying my best to find a lawyer in my area to help me with confirming the identity and legitimacy of the email from the N/intendo Rep, as well as helping me contact them safely without incriminating myself if they do continue taking legal action. Unfortunately, I just couldn't find a lawyer no matter what I did. I tried calling multiple law firms in my area and even outside my area, visited a couple of them in person, and sent emails. I told them my name and phone number every time, but never got a call back from any of them, even to this day. Didn't help that I was limited in time and Monday was Columbus Day. (holiday in the U.S.) It really felt impossible to get a lawyer for some reason.
With no lawyer by my side, and now in the last day of this conflict, my only option was to contact the N/intendo Rep myself. Thankfully, they left an email address for me to contact them, so I that's what I did. The reason why I went for the email is so that I can send them a VERY short and simple message saying that I've done everything they asked of me and made an apology. (even though I did not want to. F'uck them) A couple of hours later, I got back from them saying, "Thank you for the confirmation. N/intendo appreciates your assistance and understanding in this matter." So it seems like they are going to leave me alone. For now, at least.
Knowing that I'm in the clear now, I felt so much at ease because I feared that they might take further action against me. My life might have been ruined if they did not leave me alone. But then again, I am still not sure about the legitimacy of this person's claim about being a N/intendo Rep. The law firm they work at seems legit and their collaboration with N/intendo also seems legit. I wish I could have gotten a call back from a lawyer around this time. I wanted to make sure I wasn't actually being threatened by the real deal. I am still going to find a lawyer, regardless. They might come back to bite me again, so I'll have to be ready 'till then.

Now that the situation seems to be resolved, I would like to notify you on what I'll be doing from now on regarding posting N/intendo related art. I'm sure any lawyer would tell me to quit making lewds of N/intendo owned property to avoid any future legal action. But I'mma be honest, I don't think I want to stop doing that. It is one of the main reasons why a lot of you subscribe to me on here, and how I got to this point in the first place. So these are the ways I am thinking of doing:

- I will make a Discord channel on my server exclusively for any N/intendo content that I cannot post on Patreon. This does mean you'll need to make a Discord account and have it connected to Patreon. My server name is "Kamui's Dungeon" you'll have a patreon role and have access to patreon exclusive channels.

- I will probably make .zip files each month that contain these contents. The reason why I say "probably" is because I am not sure how far Dropbox will be able to let me upload them before I run out of space on my account there.

- I can send them to you via Patreon DMs. You'll receive a link to view the image itself, but I will have to delete it within a month or so. The links will be from Dropbox, so I'll need to delete them to save space on my account.

The BEST way to view them is directly on my Discord server. If you have any other ideas on what I can do so that many of you are able to view them, please let me know. It sucks that I can't just post them here like I normally do, but that's N/intendo and Patreon for ya. Both of them are so unforgiving when it comes to DMCAs.
Anyway, thank you all so much for reading this and supporting me through all of this mess. So far, I have not heard of anyone else dealing with the same issue as I have, so I'm not sure if I should make a public post about it. I'll think about it. Well that's pretty much all I have to say. TLDR: Resolved the issue with the recent DMCAs (I think) and will be making changes to N/intendo related lewd works on here by posting them on my Discord server, or by posting them as Dropbox links.
