Hi Everyone!

So as everyone knows, the (sub vs Dub) argument has been a hot debate since the first AOT video we posted. We discussed our reasoning early on but there has still been a lot of discourse.

We've been talking internally and based on all the feedback, we have considered doing the switch but we first wanted to discuss what would change if we did so, as well as the downsides to reaction videos that are in Japanese.

Either way, we're looking forward to hearing your feedback! And thanks for helping us decide 😊

I’m a sub only watcher. The reason for that is because I enjoy watching something in its original/rawest and intended form. With this being you guys’ first anime, I understand why you would want to watch it dubbed as it’s easier to grasp and to keep up. I have seen this anime in dubbed as well, and my only complaint is that a lot of the words and the tone gets misconstrued in the dubbed. The way of saying things and what you’re saying means a lot, and sometimes the dubbed doesn’t correctly portray what was intended.

Attack on Titan was the first anime I ever watched, so naturally I started out watching the dubbed version versus the subbed. My partner at the time loved anime and watched it all as the original version with subtitles, and he convinced me to try it out as well. I loved it so much more! The difference between the actors' passions/expressions between the English and Japanese versions were the biggest thing for me. The subbed version just feels so much more emotional in my opinion!
