this is in no way a pity post, but merely an update to what's occurring in my life

Dang, feels like an eternity since I've written one of these, though I do suppose it's something that's necessary given the noticeable lack of content being posted up here.

Life

After having a discussion with a fellow patron, I decided that I owe you all some updates as to what has been happening behind doors of ehrrr, and it ain't too great. 

Without getting into specifics, a handful of (not good) events occurred IRL which has left me in quite the predicament. Predicaments which have taken their toll on my sanity and funding unfortunately, which has resulted in a noticeable slowdown in content being produced and posted. 

Timing happened to be another heavy factor to this story, as I had luckily been accepted into tabling at two conventions (International Fan Festival [occurred] and Anime North [May 24th-26th]). Both wielded powerful influence over my funding, funding which had now been yanked from my wallet.

Commissions

Given the nature of the situations at hand, earning as much as possible was a necessity. Regrettably, I took on much more than I was comfortable with handling, which was a grave mistake. Not only to my work ethics but to those commissioning me as well - radio silence is the one thing any commissioner dreads. I apologize deeply for making such a mistake, and will do what must be done to avoid any similar conflicts in the future.

So for those currently in the waits for commission progress and updates: Please do bare with the wait as I sort through this mess. 

Current Status

I am presently crawling my way out of this deficit (mentally and financially), but it will take some time. I hope this shines some lights on my whereabouts and I hope you all can forgive the silence. I will do my best to continue heading towards the right path; although dark and painful, that's just life sometimes.
