Gulf coast storm swept through

Bringing the smell of the sea.

Wet, warm, yet cooling.

I hadn’t expected there to be rain last night. I stepped outside and enjoyed it from a dry spot. Perhaps the heat of the day that preceded it, or the amount of water that came with it, but there was a peculiar swirling of cool breeze accompanied it. It was lovely, and still on my mind as I did my drawing and pic.
