Works in Progress (Patreon)

Today was a busy day of SLOW progress! It's been awhile since I've shared an update on the handwriting project. Using words as marks for the background instead of brush strokes is very time consuming. I generally work on it an hour or two a day, and I'm almost half way through the surface. So far, it consists of names of my fellow graduates from my BA and my MA. There are also the words from the programs from the graduation ceremonies. 

Next up is an old box. It typically holds incense, so it smells lovely. I think it needs a makeover though! The final picture is the box with its new base color. I continue to be inspired by pop culture and advertising or product color schemes, fonts, and design. I've included the product that inspired the color scheme! I've always thought it was lovely packaging. More to come soon!
