BOOM! paintings. I completed “Just Peachy “, and began the next one! 

Today is the first day of autumn, and that got me thinking about the changing colors of New Mexico and Colorado where I grew up and lived most of my life. The aspens are the first to change. They grow at higher altitudes and the nights in the mountains are colder. The contrast of their warm golden leaves are so striking against a clear blue sky. I held those colors in my mind and heart as I painted today!
