The view from the bridge. (Patreon)

You may recognize this view.  Even if you've never been to New Mexico this view has been used in TV and movies for years.  This is where the Natural Born Killers got married, or where the Wild Hogs set out on adventure.  It was even in one of the best forgotten Terminator sequels.  To me it's a pretty spot on the way home.  Any time I was going to school, or the grocery store, or the movies I crossed this bridge.  I can't tell you how many times, and it's still magical.  I remember my father telling me about how difficult it was to cross this canyon when he was a boy.  This bridge changed the face of the land around it, and how people lived their lives.  What was once a four hour drive could now be done in minutes.  Lot's of people don't take the time to think about how much infrastructure like this matters to the people whose lives it changes.  But everyone appreciates the view!
