Many years ago, I was particularly stressed out. I mean daily panic attacks, insomnia, lack of focus, I was struggling. One day, I lied down on the floor. It was a low point. From the depths of my memory, I recalled a yoga class that I had attended regularly I college. I remembered what the instructor had said about breathing, and syncing that breath to movement. I spent the next hour doing nothing but remembering some yoga poses and breathing. DEEPLY.  It felt like the first time in months that I could catch my breath.

When I got up, I knew that I had to share what I'd just experienced with everyone that I could! It was that moment that I decided to become a certified yoga instructor.

Right now, across the world, for every person, times are stressful. This is difficult. We're at home, some of us are not able to work, or go about like we normally do. It seems an appropriate time to share the most basic premise of yoga: breathing. You can sit, or you can stand. You can do this anywhere, and it really does help.

I hope this finds you well!

I was working my breathing until my dog jumped on my lap! I will have to try it again :)

Dogs are often a problem when doing yoga. Sometimes they just think that they're "helping".
