I spent the day in the studio, enjoying myself with a self portrait. The colors are intense. Bright, warm yellows in the skin, and bright blues and muted greens in the background. It feels like a goodbye to the summer. Not a sad one, though. Just a reflection on it as I gaze over my shoulder.
