Krista was part of the fandom from the beginning and became a recognizable face everywhere. The cast and those who worked the cons alike loved her. She started attending cons when they started and sat front row for most of them. Went to all the JIB's too. Yes, she provided a valuable service for the fandom, and I will forever be grateful for being able to watch the hours of footage she shared. She was kind and funny. Accepted everyone. Helped newbies and always had snacks or supplies for con goers and volunteers. She cheered for everyone, made annoying comments in her videos sometimes and booed shipping questions. But she was unapologetically herself, and a force for good in the fandom. She also donated her time, energy and money to good causes and people - and that included her autographs and other benefits she received from her gold passes. Krista is why I will never begrudge the richer fans for attending the gold panels or the meet and greets. Because she was the kind of fan that was worthy of being looked up to, regardless of financial status. May she rest in peace and may her name be eternal.

I met Krista briefly at JIB12. She was on the hunt for her pizza delivery just before the Saturday concert. She was the one who teased that I needed to stay longer in Nashville after the convention. Jensen obviously talked about doing a gig in the meet and greet. Luckily I already had booked extra time lol.
