No spoilers, don't worry. Just some input as usual: - The ABH has talked plenty of times in previous episodes. But you are right that in this particular one, he wasn't very chatty at the beginning. I think this was intentionally done, so that later, when he poses at Skinner and becomes *very* chatty, we are unsure whether it's really Skinner or not. - Now a huge blunder on the series, even though fans try to rationalize it to this day with mental gymnastics, is the fact that the alien stiletto was not needed to kill the ABH. The season three finale ("Talitha Cumi") was all about finding what they called the "weapon of (their) distruction". Of course people will bend over backwards to try and make sense of how it was possible for Scully to kill him with a simple gunshot, but, in reality, it's simply a continuity issue. As much as I love it, the series is full of those. - Why are there many ABHs? Well, apparently many of his "race" look exactly the same. We have seen in season five, "Patient X", that an alien rebel looked exactly like the ABH. The rebels are the same race as the ABH, only they are not controlled by the black oil (which comes from another race). That's why the rebels have their faces "morphed shut". The ending of the episode implies indeed, that all our previous encounters with the ABH could have been "an" ABH instead of "the" ABH. - Skinner's eyes are just an indication that he tried to wound the ABH and the toxic blood affected him. The green blood's toxic effects are only present if the alien (or hybrid) is alive. Since Scully killed him, she was not affected. - I absolutely *love* the character development here when it comes to Scully. After all she has seen and been through, as she said in the season seven finale "Requiem", there are things she cannot deny. It took a long while to get there, and while some might say that she is now a strong believer simply to make up for Mulder being missing and Doggett being a skeptic, I see it differently, and entirely natural, for someone like her to finally be open about these things. If we're talking honestly, in a real life situation someone like her would have become a believer shortly after mid season-two at the latest, but hey, it's better late than never. Your video was very enjoyable. Some priceless reactions, and some great analysis. As I've said, one of my favorite seasons along with season six. Needless to say, every single season will have bad episodes, but I predict, that overall, you will enjoy this much, much more than you did season seven.
