I actually really enjoy this episode. I like Mrs butters and I also like the dean and jack talk. As a whole, season 15, is not one of my favorite seasons but I do enjoy some episodes. I'm not someone who has a problem with the MOW, like another reactor I can think of; I just enjoy episodes even if they are not season storyline related.

While it is weirdly out of place and without Cas, I liked seeing the boys enjoy the holidays they never got to do and with so much flair. I think it only covered days vs being a year with Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, 4th of July and Sam's birthday to make up for all they missed. It was so nice to see those moments with Jack too, small things most people underestimate so it's easy to adore those moments of carving pumpkins, passing mashed potatoes, etc. They were all so happy and seeing him get a crash course of those was still nice even in it's limited time. Dean's sloppy cake for Jack at the end made at least ties back into the makeshift Christmas he tried to give Sammy as a kid. It doesn't have to be picture perfect to truly be special and I am glad Jack got to be part of a real moment with them and blow out the candle! Jack also got his own "son of a bitch" which was a clap moment for me. And I cracked up when Dean yeeted him through the door so they could escape the room. Poor Sam never gets to get his nails when holiday enthusiasts are on this show.
